Amazon announced that during the Global Month of Volunteering, its team members from more than 50 countries engaged in over 4,000 events, both virtual and in-person, and provided support to over 400 organizations. The company collaborates with thousands of global partners annually to address critical social issues and strengthen communities.

Sarah Rhoads, Vice President of Workplace Safety at Amazon, stated that the company aims to set the "global standard" for workplace safety and maintain a safe environment for its employees. Rhoads made this statement in a blog post published by Amazon on January 23.

Amazon announced that Prime Day 2024 was the largest in its history, achieving record sales and surpassing the number of items sold in any previous Prime Day. The 48-hour global shopping event set new benchmarks for the company's annual sales event.
