As the hurricane season commences, Allstate has intensified its response initiatives and is urging homeowners and renters to prepare. Recent research indicates that nearly two-thirds of U.S. families lack a disaster plan. This year, Allstate has processed over $3 billion in weather-related claims, highlighting the necessity for preparedness.
"Storms are hitting harder and more often, putting people, homes, and communities at greater risk," stated Andrea Bessling, Allstate’s Claims Field Director of the National Catastrophe Team. "We’re focused on helping homeowners and renters feel confident and prepared. When severe weather strikes, being ready can make all the difference."
Allstate advises homeowners and renters to take proactive measures to protect their properties and expedite recovery if disaster occurs.
Even if individuals are not prepared, Allstate is ready to assist. "Caring claims experts stand ready to help people rebound faster, with urgency, accuracy and empathy," explained Bessling.
