Allergan Aesthetics, a company under AbbVie, has announced the launch of the inaugural Allergan Medical Institute (AMI) Training Centers Faculty. The initiative forms part of the company's continuous efforts to enhance education in medical aesthetics. The new training centers, located in Orange County and Atlanta, are set to begin classes on June 26, 2025, and July 21, 2025, respectively.
In line with its commitment to grow the aesthetics industry responsibly, Allergan Aesthetics has appointed a group of educators to shape future aesthetic injectors. "We are able to truly elevate the aesthetics education experience through our incredible partners who bring a focus on real-world practice insights and clinical differentiation of the Allergan Aesthetics portfolio to every training engagement," stated Matt Williams, Vice President of Allergan Medical Institute.
Williams emphasized that the AMI utilizes nearly 500 faculty members who contribute to a comprehensive training continuum, facilitating education at all levels. "This would not be possible without the unparalleled faculty expertise delivered through our training centers, large-scale programs, in providers' clinics and through AMI Online education modules," he added.
The faculty at the AMI Training Centers is selected for their vast experience in hands-on training and their commitment to enhancing industry standards. Each center will have a Clinical Education Team to provide principles aligned with Allergan Aesthetics products and standards.
Allergan Aesthetics has also introduced Dr. Saami Khalifian, Medical Director for the U.S. AMI Training Centers, along with 38 faculty members who will lead various immersive programs such as Foundational Injectables and Evolving Injectables.
Allergan Aesthetics develops and markets a variety of aesthetics products with a focus on innovation and education. The Allergan Medical Institute delivers training aligned with these values, supporting providers and enhancing patient experiences through its programs.
