Morgan Stanley Wealth Management, in partnership with the American Heart Association (AHA) – Westchester and Fairfield Counties, will host the 16th annual Go Red Women’s Leadership event. The event is scheduled for Friday, February 7 at 8:00 a.m. EST and will take place both virtually and in person at Morgan Stanley's offices in Purchase, NY.

The leadership event is part of Morgan Stanley’s ongoing support of the Go Red for Women campaign. This initiative aims to highlight the power and influence of women against heart disease. Vince Lumia, Managing Director and Head of Wealth Management Client Segments at Morgan Stanley Wealth Management, emphasized the importance of such events by stating, “Unfortunately, heart disease remains the leading cause of death among women in the U.S. I’m grateful to the AHA for their continued collaboration in events like these which allow us to align with causes that are important to our clients and the greater community.”

This year’s event will feature a "Heart-to-Heart" conversation with Christine Baranski, an actress known for her advocacy for women's empowerment. She will be interviewed by Caroline N. Gundeck from Morgan Stanley Wealth Management.

The event will be hosted by Sandra L. Richards and Terri Ferri from Morgan Stanley Wealth Management. It includes a heart-healthy breakfast with remarks from Vince Lumia and Dr. Cara Pensabene from AHA – Eastern States Region.

Kristen Alouisa, Executive Director at AHA Westchester & Fairfield Counties said, "We know that a majority of cardiovascular diseases are preventable. The key is empowering women through education and awareness to make choices that can keep them healthy longer.” She also praised Morgan Stanley's commitment to this cause.

Founded in 1924, the American Heart Association is dedicated to building healthier lives free from heart disease and stroke through research funding and educational programs.
