Delivery service professionals across the US and Canada have donated and delivered a variety of school supplies to students across the country, including Indiana, Ohio, and Kentucky.
Delivery service professionals and drivers have been gathering and delivering more than 300,000 school supplies for students across the country. In Indiana, Kentucky, and Ohio, delivery service professionals are coordinating backpack drives for 19 different schools, which is intended to benefit thousands of students in the area.
Delivery service professionals selected schools in their communities to receive the donations that have been gathered since July 23. Approximately 1,000 delivery service professionals have been involved in this effort.
The Amazon Air Hub is an 800,000 square-foot facility that supports Amazon’s growing air cargo network. It is at the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport and employs more than 2,000 individuals. The facility spans more than 600 acres and is the hub of operations for a network of more than 40 Amazon Air sites, according to the Amazon Air Hub website.
