Tubac Chamber of Commerce recently issued the following announcement.

Location: Tubac School of Fine Art, 4 Cll Iglesia, Tubac, AZ 85646, USA map 

Date: Fri Mar 11th 9:00am - Sun 13th 4:00am

Using paper, encaustic medium, and other materials, we will build rich and varied backgrounds to bring life and color to black and white photographic-based paintings through the transfer process.

All base mediums, paints, as well as eco-dye supplies will be provided, but students will be encouraged to bring a variety of found papers and other materials to use. No prior experience with encaustic painting is required, but general art-making experience is helpful.
