Apple has announced the launch of its online retail presence in Saudi Arabia, marking a significant expansion into the region. The new Apple Store online and Apple Store app will offer direct support from Apple in Arabic for the first time. Deirdre O’Brien, Apple's senior vice president of Retail and People, stated, “We are thrilled to bring the Apple Store online and the Apple Store app to Saudi Arabia, offering customers a new way to explore and shop Apple’s extraordinary lineup of products and services.”

The introduction of these platforms will allow Saudi Arabian customers to access Apple's full range of products with personalized shopping experiences. Customers can receive recommendations tailored to their existing Apple devices through the app. Additionally, they can compare models, save items, and track orders.

The iPhone 16 lineup is featured prominently in this launch, highlighting advancements in privacy and functionality driven by Apple Intelligence. Mac users can customize their devices with configure-to-order options for chip memory and storage. Personalized engravings on select products are now available in both Arabic and English.

Apple's retail services aim to simplify technology discovery for customers in Saudi Arabia with personalized support via chat or phone. Options such as Tamara's Buy Now Pay Later plan provide flexible payment solutions at zero percent interest over four months.

Through the Apple Trade In program, customers can trade their old devices for credit toward new purchases or opt for free recycling if not eligible for credit. Additional benefits include two years of priority support under AppleCare+.

Educational discounts are offered through the Apple Education Store until September 30th, allowing students and educators savings on Macs or iPads along with special back-to-school offers.

Plans have been revealed for opening flagship physical stores starting in 2026 across several locations including Diriyah—a UNESCO World Heritage site—as part of Apple's broader investment strategy within Saudi Arabia which includes partnerships like those established during Riyadh’s inaugural Developer Academy initiative launched back in 2021 alongside governmental entities such as Tuwaiq Academy & Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University.
