COVINGTON, Ky. – The City of Covington is hosting a variety of events this weekend, offering activities ranging from live music and markets to food festivals and art shows. The events are scheduled to take place across different venues in the city.
Thursday will feature a Hendrick’s Gin Dinner at Juniper’s from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., a BCM Summer Concert Series from 7 to 9 p.m., Grady Burton performing at Smoke Justis from 7 to 10 p.m., and Disco Bingo at Galaxie starting at 7:30 p.m.
On Friday, Smoke Justis will host a Dierks Bentley Row 94 Happy Hour from 2 to 5 p.m., followed by performances by Leroy Ellington from 8 to 11 p.m. Baker Hunt Music in the Gardens is scheduled for Friday evening as well, running from 6 to 8 p.m. Juniper’s will feature the Brown-Brunson Quartet from 8 to 11 p.m., while Strasse Haus will present The Inturns from 8:30 p.m. to midnight. Additionally, Galaxie will host GENDERGRAV3S Magical Freak Show starting at 10 p.m.
Saturday's lineup includes Scarlet Begonia’s Flower Truck visiting Conveyor Belt Books between noon and 2 p.m., and an Unlock the Block Community Festival taking place from 4 to 10 p.m. Live performances include Matt Waters Band at The Village from 6 to 10 p.m., Gunshine at The Madison with doors opening at 7 p.m., and Blue Samuel performing at Strasse Haus until late night. Other performances on Saturday include The Bluebirds Duo at Smoke Justis and Angie Coyle Quartet at Juniper’s, both scheduled for the evening.
Sunday offers a Jazz Brunch featuring the Gunner Gidnar Trio at Juniper’s starting in the morning until early afternoon, while later in the day there will be a Secret Dreams Decompression Session hosted by Galaxie. Yoga enthusiasts can join Yoga with kitten sessions held at Purrfect Day Cat Café in the evening.
