No rain is expected for Saturday, which means the Austinburg Park Grand Reopening in Covington, Kentucky, will proceed as planned. The event promises a variety of activities and attractions for attendees.
The reopening will showcase numerous improvements to the park, including new sidewalks, repaved basketball courts with updated goals and lines, a new driveway and parking facility, upgraded playground equipment, a seating area for the FC Cincinnati soccer mini pitch, a new shelter house, an informational kiosk, a dog park, pickleball courts, and enhanced landscaping with flower beds and additional trees.
Attendees can expect appearances by FC Cincinnati’s mascot Gary the Lion and DJ Pizza Boy Jaws. There will also be free food and drinks available alongside games and giveaways.
