Various community events are scheduled in Covington, Kentucky this weekend, offering residents and visitors alike the chance to contribute to local causes while enjoying leisure activities.

One of the highlights is "Save Water, Drink Beer," organized by Greenline Salon at Second Story Bar on Friday to aid the Ohio River Foundation (ORF) in their water conservation efforts. Attendees can participate in raffles and silent auctions, and a portion of select drink sales will be donated to the foundation.

Saturday marks the Women-Owned Business (WOB) Crawl. Hosted by Aviatra Accelerators among others, the crawl features discounts and deals at various woman-owned businesses, from restaurants to fashion boutiques. Participants can check in at Aviatra Accelerators to obtain a map and shopping bag.

Linden Day Covington Arbor Day Celebration, co-hosted by the Covington Urban Forestry Board, will offer free tree seedlings on Saturday at the Historic Linden Grove Cemetery & Arboretum. Limitations apply, with two trees per guest, including planting instructions.

The Great American Cleanup will also take place Saturday, as volunteers gather for community beautification projects across 15 locations in Covington. Keep Covington Beautiful and the City of Covington have partnered to orchestrate this day.

Celebrating a decade of operation, Braxton Brewing Co. invites attendees to their anniversary party. The event will feature DJs and special brews.

On Sunday, the Family Fun Run & Walk, in observance of Child Abuse Awareness Month, will be held at Pioneer Park. Sponsored by various community organizations, the event promises music, food, and activities for all ages.

Live music is scheduled across several venues throughout the weekend, alongside workshops, adoption events, and more.
