Do something beneficial for yourself this weekend. There are several activities lined up that might interest you.

Braxton Brewing Co. is celebrating the Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden’s 150th anniversary with a new beer, Safari Lemongrass Lager. The event, Party in the Safari, will take place at Braxton Brewing Company on Saturday and will feature an animal encounter with creatures from the Cincinnati Zoo, face painting for children, and live music by the Tadcasters.

For those interested in vision boards, Handy Shop + Studio is hosting a workshop led by Shaheen Miro on Saturday. Participants will learn to clarify desires, set intentions, and create vision boards. The fee includes materials such as a vision board canvas and an Instax Mini Photo.

Artist Melissa Mauk will demonstrate her creative process at Purple Paisley, Local Artisan Shop on Saturday. Attendees can observe how she creates polymer beads and colorful bracelets.
