Similarly, the cost per kilowatt hour of electricity at public EV charging stations continues to hold steady at 34 cents, a rate that has not fluctuated for nearly five months.

Andrew Gross, a spokesperson for AAA, provided insights into the trends observed over the past year. "Looking back at 2024, the high point for the national average was $3.67 on May 19, and the low was $3.01 on December 10," he stated. Gross further commented on future expectations: "If the national average follows seasonal norms, it will probably waffle up and down by a few cents for the next two months."
