The holiday season is approaching rapidly, bringing with it the much-anticipated Cyber Monday and its array of deals. According to a November 5 news release from Amazon, consumers can expect discounts on home products, new technology, toys, beauty products, and more.

According to the release, the Monday following Black Friday marks the occasion when shoppers are encouraged to visit Amazon's main website for these deals. For those eager to find bargains earlier, the Amazon Deals webpage offers an alternative. Additionally, Alexa can assist with Cyber Monday shopping by notifying users up to 24 hours in advance about deals on eligible items in their shopping carts or wish lists.

For individuals without specific items in mind, Amazon suggests starting with the Holiday Shop and the "2024 Toys We Love" list. The company has also introduced Rufus, a new conversational shopping assistant powered by artificial intelligence designed to help shoppers find suitable gifts for everyone on their list.

To maximize savings on Cyber Monday, customers are advised to join Amazon Prime. Membership costs $14.99 per month or $139 annually and includes benefits such as unlimited fast shipping, exclusive discounts, and access to digital entertainment at no extra charge. Young adults and college students can avail themselves of a six-month trial at a discounted rate before paying $7.49 per month or $69 annually. Those receiving government assistance have the option of trying Prime Access for 30 days before enjoying similar benefits at a reduced cost.

Amazon operates under four guiding principles: customer obsession rather than competitor focus, passion for invention, commitment to operational excellence, and long-term thinking. The company aims to be Earth’s Most Customer-Centric Company, Earth’s Best Employer, and Earth’s Safest Place to Work. Among its innovations are customer reviews, 1-Click shopping, personalized recommendations, Prime services including Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA), Amazon Web Services (AWS), Kindle Direct Publishing (KDP), Kindle devices, Career Choice programs, Fire tablets and TV devices, Amazon Echo and Alexa products, Just Walk Out technology, Amazon Studios productions, and The Climate Pledge initiative.
