If you're looking for Halloween-themed activities in Covington, Kentucky, this weekend offers a variety of events to consider. From pumpkin carving to costume contests and spooky tours, there's something for everyone.

Covington Parks & Recreation is hosting a Pumpkin Carving Night at David Housley Pavilion in Randolph Park. This free event provides all necessary tools and pumpkins for families to create their own jack-o'-lanterns. The creations will be showcased at the Jack-O’-Lantern Festival on Saturday, which also features a costume contest, games, arts and crafts, and more.

For those interested in exploring local legends, the Spooky Secrets Tour offers a guided walk inspired by Kathryn Witt’s book "Secret Cincinnati: A Guide to the Weird, Wonderful and Obscure." Led by Jill Morenz of Aviatra Accelerators, the tour runs through October 30th with proceeds supporting women entrepreneurs.

Juniper's hosts a Live Action Role Play set in the old West where participants can immerse themselves in character roles without needing costumes. However, costumes are encouraged as players bid on valuable treasures in a fictional setting.

The Purple Paisley Local Artisan Shop presents Spooky Sip & Stitch - Embroidery with Elizabeth Watkins on Saturday. Participants are invited to engage in an embroidery experience with a Halloween twist.

Braxton Brewing Company will hold its Halloween Party & Costume Contest on Saturday with prizes for best costumes across various categories. The event includes music and dancing on their LED dance floor.
