State Farm has expressed concern for those affected by the South Fork and Salt fires in central New Mexico. The company extends its support to all individuals and communities impacted, including firefighters, first responders, and volunteers working to contain the fires.

In response to the crisis, State Farm has deployed its Catastrophe Claims Response vehicles and the Customer Response Unit (CRU) to distribute essential items such as water and work gloves to residents recovering from the wildfires. The CRU van will circulate through accessible neighborhoods.

Teams are currently stationed in Roswell at:

Roswell Convention & Civic Center

912 N. Main St., Roswell, NM, 88210

As access improves, teams will relocate closer to Ruidoso to better assist customers.

State Farm advises residents on safety measures: "Material things can be replaced but the loss of life or serious injury can’t be fixed." They also recommend following news reports from first responders and keeping receipts for living expenses that may be reimbursable after meeting deductibles.

To file a claim once it is safe, residents can contact State Farm via their agent, call 1-800-SF-Claim, visit statefarm.com or use the mobile application.
