Eli Lilly and Company announced on August 27 that it will participate in the 2018 Morgan Stanley Global Healthcare Conference to be held September 12 through 14 in New York City. 

In a press release from the 140-year-old Indianapolis-based drug manufacturer, Eli Lilly said that Joshua Smiley, its senior vice president and chief financial officer, would participate in a fireside chat at 1:40 p.m. EST on Sept. 12. 

A live webcast will be available on the “Webcasts & Presentations” section of Lilly’s Investor website. The replay of the presentation will be available for viewing on this website for 90 days.  

The 16th annual Morgan Stanley Global Healthcare Conference is scheduled to be held at the Grand Hyatt New York. The scheduled event draws the interest of global companies involved with pharmaceuticals, healthcare, biotech, medical technology and more, according to Morgan Stanley’s website.

Thousands of investors and hundreds of corporate executives have attended past conferences and topics have ranged from the implications of Big Data and analytics on the future of health care to payment models, data sharing, wearable technology and innovation within the healthcare market.  

Eli Lilly is one of many companies that have recently announced their participation in the conference. Other participating companies include McKesson Corporation, CONMED Corporation, AxoGen, Inc., LivaNova, Cigna, Centene, CVS Health Investors and Shire.

Eli Lilly and Company products include treatments in cardiovascular, diabetes, oncology, neuroscience, men’s health and critical care, according to its website.
