Her expertise in public policy development and regulatory oversight will be instrumental as we navigate the evolving policy landscape. We are thrilled to welcome Bryn to TechNet.”
McDonough expressed her enthusiasm for joining TechNet: “I’m honored to join TechNet at such a pivotal moment for technology policy. From AI to cybersecurity, the stakes for America’s innovation leadership and national security have never been higher. Before joining TechNet, McDonough held senior roles at the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, including Chief of Staff in the Office of the Deputy Secretary and Deputy General Counsel. She managed initiatives on cybersecurity, transportation security, crisis response, and oversaw legal teams handling major rulemakings. Previously, she served as Chief Counsel to Senator Jacky Rosen (D-NV) in the U.S. Senate and worked on policy roles for former Senator Bob Casey (D-PA).
Her legal career began as a litigator at Latham & Watkins and Dilworth Paxson. McDonough holds a J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center and a B.A. in Government and History from Georgetown University. She is a member of the California Bar and is also admitted (inactive) to the Pennsylvania Bar. Her official start date with TechNet is July 14th.
