Today, during the global Conversations conference in Miami, several updates were announced to enhance business operations on WhatsApp. These updates aim to streamline marketing efforts and expand AI support for businesses.

The integration of marketing strategies across WhatsApp, Facebook, and Instagram has been simplified through Ads Manager. Businesses can now manage their creative content, setup flows, and budgets from a single platform. The system allows businesses to upload subscriber lists and select marketing messages manually or utilize Advantage+ for optimized budget allocation across different placements. Additionally, ads can be created in Status directly from Ads Manager.

To assist businesses in handling increased customer interactions, AI support is being expanded. A Business AI is under exploration that will provide personalized product recommendations and facilitate sales on business websites. This AI will also follow up with customers via WhatsApp chat to answer questions or provide updates. The expansion of Business AIs will soon reach more businesses in Mexico.

Enhancements are also being made to the WhatsApp Business Platform with new calling and voice options. Larger businesses will soon have the capability to receive calls from customers or initiate calls when requested by the customer. The platform will also support sending and receiving voice messages as well as making video calls, which could be beneficial for services like telehealth appointments. These updates aim to improve communication flexibility and pave the way for future AI-enabled voice support.

These developments are expected to help businesses strengthen customer relationships and improve operational efficiency.
