Covington, Ky. – As Memorial Day weekend approaches, residents are reminded of the significance of this holiday as a time to honor military personnel who have died in service to the United States. In Covington, several events are planned to commemorate these sacrifices, including the annual Memorial Day Parade and various ceremonies on Monday.

In addition to memorial activities, the weekend offers a variety of leisure events for community members. Braxton Brewing Co. will host Music Bingo on The Rooftop, where participants can enjoy music-themed bingo with friends.

A noteworthy event is Friday's "She Thinks My Yard Sale’s Sexy" at 2616 Decoursey Ave., organized by The Roost Latonia and Curated Design & Décor. This yard sale promises unique finds from six estates.

The Covington Farmers Market will take place on Saturday along Washington Street. Attendees can explore healthy food options and visit the Kenton County Public Library's table for information on library events and new books.

Live music is scheduled throughout the weekend at various venues: Marty Connor Duo performs tonight at Smoke Justis; G Space with Raydium & Organtica plays Friday at Galaxie; Megan Hamilton takes the stage Saturday at Galaxie; and Drug Church will perform Sunday at Madison Live.

Additional activities include Disco Bingo Thursday at Galaxie and $2 oysters at Ripple Wine Bar tonight, a MainStrasse Village Food Tour and painting session with cats at Purrfect Day Cat Café on Saturday, and Trivia Sundays at West Sixth Covington Haus.
