Covington, Ky. is abuzz with a wide variety of activities this weekend. The town features poetry readings, book signings, live music, a board game event, trivia, wine tasting, a farmers market, and Easter brunches.

In celebration of National Poetry Month, Juniper’s hosts a Poetry & Light Bites Night, providing an opportunity for poetry enthusiasts to present their work in an open mic event.

Meanwhile, Braxton Brewing Co. is organizing a Bike4Briar Pint Night Fundraiser on Friday. The event aims to raise awareness and funds for Angelman Syndrome, a rare neurogenetic disorder. Braxton aims to support research and family assistance for those affected. Briar, a child with the condition, will be present to meet attendees.

Purple Paisley, Local Artisan Shop will contribute to the weekend’s activities with a book signing and reading event. Dr. Kathy Hendley will present her book "Murder in the Masterpiece: A Teacher’s Deadly Lesson," the inaugural installment in her Teachers Lounge Series.

The Purrfect Day Cat Café welcomes Dr. Matt McGlasson, a popular veterinary professional and author, for the signing of his book "How to Rate a Cat." Dr. McGlasson’s work is well-received in various media outlets.

Live music is scheduled throughout the weekend, featuring several bands and artists at venues such as Molly Malone’s Irish Pub & Restaurant, Smoke Justis, and Madison Live. Additionally, workshops, wine tastings, and other miscellaneous events will complement the weekend's offerings.
