Covington offers a variety of indoor activities and events this weekend in response to potential storm disruptions, providing entertainment options for residents and visitors.

The Covington Urban Forestry Board, in collaboration with the Kentucky Division of Forestry, will host a Kentucky Arbor Day Ceremony at Goebel Park on Friday. This includes planting a memorial tree and a giveaway of 200 Bald Cypress seedlings, complete with planting instructions. The Arbor Day celebration will extend into Saturday with a Spring Tree Planting event at Goebel Park, offering volunteer opportunities to plant 25 to 30 trees. Weather-related cancellations are possible, so participants are advised to check the Covington Urban Forestry Board's Facebook page for updates.

Saturday activities include Bingo Night with Rescue Cats at Purrfect Day Cat Café. Participants, age 18 and over, will enjoy bingo in the cat lounge, cat interactions, cocktails at special prices, and bingo prizes.

An Easter Egg Dot Painting Class will be held at Purple Paisley, Local Artisan Shop. Attendees will create three-dimensional Easter eggs for a personal holiday touch, with no expert-level skills required.

Sunday at Handzy Shop + Studio, a Granny Square Crochet workshop will teach double crochet, magic loop, slip knots, and color changing techniques. The workshop includes materials like a crochet hook, stitch markers, yarn, and a yarn needle.

Goat Yoga will take place at West Sixth Covington Haus on Sunday. This beginner-level yoga class features baby Nigerian Dwarf goats for a unique stress-reduction experience. Participants can enjoy interacting and photographing the goats.

Live music events include performances at Madison Theater, Galaxie, and Juniper's throughout the weekend, featuring artists like Drake White and the Old Green Eyes Quartet.

Additionally, cultural activities such as the Northern Kentucky Sports Legends of the 1950s exhibit at the Behringer-Crawford Museum, wine tastings, and Disco Bingo are scheduled. On Saturday, other events include the Covington Farmers Market at Braxton Brewing Co., MainStrasse Village Food Tour, and the Covington Sparks Engineer It! event at Sixth District Elementary School.
