Tim Cook CEO of Apple | Apple

Apple has announced the release of visionOS 2.4, bringing new capabilities to the Apple Vision Pro with Apple Intelligence features. This update allows users to improve communication and expression while maintaining privacy standards.

The new Spatial Gallery app offers curated spatial content, including art, culture, and sports. With the Apple Vision Pro app for iPhone, users can find new content and apps conveniently, and sharing experiences with the Guest User feature has been simplified.

New Writing Tools help users refine text through rewriting, proofreading, and summarizing in apps such as Mail and Notes. With features like Rewrite, Proofread, and Summarize, users can adjust tone, check grammar, and create text summaries. Furthermore, Compose enables the generation of content using ChatGPT.

Image Playground integrates into Messages and Freeform and allows users to create images using themes and costumes, or likenesses using personal photos. Genmoji, a new feature, lets users create personalized emojis by simply typing descriptions.

Smart Reply in Messages and Mail offers quick response suggestions, and natural language search in Photos helps locate specific moments. Create a Memory Movie lets users craft movies by providing descriptions, with Apple Intelligence selecting relevant photos and videos.

All Apple Intelligence features prioritize user privacy, employing on-device processing. For advanced requests, Private Cloud Compute ensures data is not shared with Apple and meets privacy standards.

Spatial Gallery provides immersive content curated by Apple, with experiences from brands like Red Bull, Cirque du Soleil, and Porsche. The Apple Vision Pro app for iPhone introduces new ways to explore spatial experiences and manage Vision Pro settings.

VisionOS 2.4 supports regional availability and language specific features. It is available as a free update for Apple Vision Pro and supports various countries. Apple Intelligence features will initially be available in beta for users set to U.S. English.

The Spatial Gallery app will come pre-installed in specific regions, while the Apple Vision Pro app for iPhone will be available with iOS 18.4. Free demos of Apple Vision Pro are available at Apple Store locations.
