The United States Senate has confirmed Michael Kratsios as the new Director of the Office of Science and Technology Policy (OSTP). Kratsios, who previously served during the Trump administration, emphasized the importance of maintaining the U.S.'s leading role in global science and innovation in his confirmation hearings.
The Computer & Communications Industry Association (CCIA), an organization supporting tech industry competition and innovation since 1972, expressed support for Kratsios's appointment.
