Allergan Aesthetics, a company under AbbVie, is set to open three new Allergan Medical Institute (AMI) Training Centers in the United States. These centers aim to provide comprehensive training programs for licensed aesthetics providers, enhancing their consultative and clinical skills.

"The new AMI Training Centers are designed to help expand and elevate our existing best-in-class training programs," said Glen Curran, Senior Vice President of U.S. at Allergan Aesthetics. "The facilities will offer a range of courses for providers at every stage of learning helping them to safely and effectively deliver excellent outcomes and increase patient satisfaction."

These new centers are part of an initiative to advance the science and art of aesthetics by providing high-impact educational programs globally. Since its introduction of BOTOX Cosmetic, Allergan Aesthetics has been committed to ensuring safe and effective training for aesthetic providers.

Strategically located in key markets, these centers will incorporate top innovations in products and techniques. They focus on achieving desirable patient outcomes while supporting business success through enhanced patient acquisition and satisfaction.

Dr. Saami Khalifian, AMI Medical Director, expressed his involvement in the project: "I've been actively involved in bringing these training centers to life—working closely to develop innovative solutions, refine ideas, and guide these concepts from vision to reality. It's an honor to offer such a groundbreaking training experience to professionals nationwide."

Programming developed with expert healthcare professionals will include hands-on training, forums, symposia, webcasts, exclusive resources, and online learning through AMI Online. In November 2024, Allergan Aesthetics introduced AMI Business Education on this platform for free business operations education.

The first center is scheduled to open at Allergan Aesthetics Headquarters in Irvine, California in 2025 with additional locations planned for Atlanta and Austin.
