Elizabeth Wetzel Director of Special Projects & Inter-Governmental Affairs | City of Covington

If your trash and recycling are usually collected on Thursday or Friday, the City of Covington advises that there will be no changes to the schedule during Thanksgiving week. The city confirmed that services will continue as usual without any delays or interruptions.

However, adjustments have been made to the operating hours at the Covington Transfer Station managed by Rumpke Waste & Recycling, located off Boron Drive in Latonia. On Thanksgiving Day, the facility will operate from 8 a.m. to noon. Regular hours will resume on Friday (8 a.m. to 4 p.m.) and Saturday (8 a.m. to noon).

For more details about trash and recycling services in Covington, residents can refer to Solid Waste & Recycling.
