Dr. Isidore Rudnick, the Fine Arts Curriculum Manager for Cincinnati Public Schools (CPS), has been honored with the CreativeOhio Arts Educator Champion Award for 2024. This accolade is part of the CreativeOhio Champion Advocacy Awards, which were established in 2023 following the transition of Ohio Citizens for the Arts to CreativeOhio.
The awards aim to recognize individuals or groups who have significantly impacted Ohio through their advocacy efforts. Dr. Rudnick received his award at a ceremony held on October 16, 2024, at Music Hall. The event was attended by leaders from various sectors across the state.
Reflecting on his recognition, Dr. Rudnick stated, “It was incredible; it is great to see so many creative leaders devoted to art advocacy in education.” He added, “It’s an honor to be recognized for making a contribution to our students and the arts in Ohio.”
Dr. Rudnick's contributions include creating inclusive and impactful arts programs in Southwest Ohio and inspiring young artists through his leadership. His career spans thirty-five years during which he has conducted music workshops for students across the United States and Europe.
