Northern Kentucky women's volleyball team faced Purdue Fort Wayne in an away match, seeking their third consecutive win. The Norse, however, were unable to maintain their momentum and lost the match in straight sets against the Colonials.

The final score was Northern Kentucky 1, Purdue Fort Wayne 3. The game took place at Gates Sports Center in Fort Wayne, Indiana. With this result, Northern Kentucky's record stands at 9-12 overall and 5-5 in the Horizon League. Meanwhile, Purdue Fort Wayne holds a record of 13-10 overall and 6-4 in the Horizon League.

In terms of individual performances, Allison Risley achieved a double-double with her career-best defensive showing, tallying 18 digs and 11 kills. Joy Banks also recorded a double-double with 16 kills and 16 digs. Sydney Bray led the team with a hitting percentage of .364. Torie Houston and Lainey Green together contributed a total of 34 assists.

During the match, Northern Kentucky dropped the first two sets but managed to secure a win in the third set with a score of 25-18. They tied the fourth set at 23-23 before ultimately losing it by a narrow margin of 25-23.

Looking ahead, Northern Kentucky will face off against Purdue Fort Wayne again on Saturday.
