Amazon has announced that its Prime Big Deal Days event was the largest October shopping event to date, with more Prime members participating than in previous years. Shoppers reportedly saved over $1 billion on millions of deals, setting a new record for items sold during the two-day event.
According to Amazon, Prime Big Deal Days featured savings for Prime members on a wide range of products, including electronics, home goods, toys, beauty products, and apparel from well-known brands such as Dyson, Apple, and Levi’s. Independent sellers also experienced significant sales increases by offering discounts on popular items like L'ANGE HAIR’s blow dryer brush, Liquid I.V.’s electrolyte mix, and IT Cosmetics' mascara.
Customers utilized innovative shopping tools during the event. These included the AI-powered shopping assistant Rufus, which provided personalized deal recommendations. Other features like Inspire, Amazon Lens, and AI Shopping Guides helped customers efficiently navigate Amazon’s extensive catalog and streamline gift shopping.
