James P. Gorman, Executive Chairman of Morgan Stanley | Columbia Business School

Morgan Stanley at Work has introduced a new pre-login digital website experience aimed at benefits participants, emphasizing benefits education. This initiative addresses the sentiment of 85% of employees and 96% of HR leaders who believe companies should better assist employees in maximizing their benefits.

The newly designed website offers streamlined navigation and includes onboarding resources for new workplace participants, pre-and post-login support, and a comprehensive self-guided Learning Center. The Learning Center features topic pages, filtering, and search capabilities to help users find relevant information easily.

In line with Morgan Stanley’s recent back-office integration, the site provides US-based workplace benefits participants with a unified entry point to various solutions, including equity compensation, retirement, deferred compensation, charitable giving, and executive services. It also leads to an authenticated platform for personalized information about specific plans.

Stephanie Glashow, Chief Marketing Officer at Morgan Stanley at Work, stated: “As Morgan Stanley at Work continues to integrate our workplace benefits offering across equity compensation, retirement and more, delivering our participants a more unified digital experience is an exciting and important next step. Our goal is to empower individuals on their benefits journey throughout onboarding, education, engagement and beyond.”

The announcement follows the completion of Morgan Stanley Wealth Management's back-office integration of Solium and E*TRADE Corporate Services stock plan businesses. This integration supports the Firm’s strategy of combining workplace, advisor-led, and self-directed channels. Morgan Stanley at Work now serves over 24,000 corporate clients and approximately 12 million workplace participants.

Scott Whatley, Head of Morgan Stanley at Work commented: “Given that 85% of employees believe their company needs to do a better job explaining how to maximize their financial benefits refining the user experience—at scale—is a top priority for providers and employers alike.”
