WASHINGTON, DC (May 28, 2024) – Seven hotels and two restaurants have been newly added to AAA’s Four Diamonds list. Each year, AAA Inspectors visit hotels and restaurants across North America, the Caribbean, and Costa Rica to evaluate them based on the 4 Cs of AAA Diamonds: Cleanliness, Comfort, Cuisine, and Consistency.
This month’s recipients of the prestigious AAA Four Diamond designation include hotels in California, Florida, Maine, Texas, and the Caribbean. Additionally, restaurants in Montana and New York were recognized. Properties that achieve Four Diamond status are noted for their upscale amenities and distinctive fine dining experiences.
The new additions are:
- Hideaway at Royalton Blue Waters, An Autograph Collection All-Inclusive Resort | Falmouth, Jamaica
- Omni San Diego Hotel | San Diego, California
- Paradisus Grand Cana, All Suites | Punta Cana, Dominican Republic
- Paradisus Palma Real Gold & Spa Resort | Punta Cana, Dominican Republic
- Plaza San Antonio Hotel & Spa, Autograph Collection | San Antonio, Texas
- Rockport Harbor Hotel | Rockport, Maine
The newly designated restaurants are:
- Cortina | Big Sky, Montana (First AAA Four Diamond Restaurant in the State)
- Maison Sun | Brooklyn, NY
AAA updates its Diamond lists monthly as inspectors continuously review properties throughout the year. Currently, there are approximately 140 Five Diamond hotels and 60 Five Diamond restaurants alongside 1,700 Four Diamond hotels and 500 Four Diamond restaurants.
