Mission for Area People (MAP), a Michigan-based non-profit faith agency, has expressed gratitude towards Forge Industrial Staffing company for its consistent support. MAP, which aids the poor, low-income and homeless in Muskegon and Holland, acknowledged Forge's specific contributions to its Teen Town Christmas event. This appreciation was publicly shared on Dec. 14 via a Facebook post.
According to a representative at Mission for Area People, "Forge has supported MAP a great deal with collections throughout the year". The representative further stated that "MAP is grateful for the continued support and recent donations of teen gifts, pantry supplies, and time donated during Teen Town Christmas registration!" The statement concluded with an appreciative note saying, "Thank you Forge!"
As stated on its website, MAP provides services to the poor and underserved in Muskegon County through various initiatives such as the "Healthy Choice Food Pantry" and a free clothing pantry. It also offers rent and utility assistance along with financial support for essential medical and dental needs.
During the "Teen Town Christmas" event hosted by MAP, volunteers were instrumental in packaging and wrapping gifts for families in need. According to a Facebook post by MAP, "Your gifts of time and treasures will help 120 families with Christmas gifts for the teens who would have otherwise gone without."
In response to this recognition from MAP, Forge expressed delight in their contribution through a Facebook post dated Dec. 21. The company stated: "While they are done taking Christmas donations for this year, they are always accepting clothing, personal hygiene and food donations if you are looking for somewhere to donate."
