A nonprofit organization located at a campus in Flagstaff, Arizona, that helps entrepreneurs with their businesses, is offering free advice with hopes that tech founders may launch their companies in Flagstaff.
The Moonshot program, located at the Northern Arizona Center for Entrepreneurship and Technology facility in Flagstaff, has offered entrepreneurs the ability to pitch ideas to its mentors and coaches for free advice and feedback, Flagstaff Business News reported.
“We have opened this free service up to not only Flagstaff but the rest of the state and country with the idea that once the pandemic (guidelines have) been lifted, those tech founders may consider visiting Flagstaff in person and consider us a viable option and valuable partner in launching their companies,” Scott Hathcock, president and chief executive officer of Moonshot at NACET, told the Flagstaff Business News.
Hatch Innovation founder and NACET board chair Todd Davis told the Flagstaff Business News that across Arizona “an ecosystem of rural startup organizations” has been created by NACET.
“Most of these startups need technology solutions for their products and we connect them with Flagstaff tech individuals and organizations,” Davis told the Flagstaff Business News. “NACET is also attracting startups from cities outside of Arizona, and they move their businesses to Flagstaff, creating more jobs.”
