Gilbert Chamber of Commerce issued the following announcement on March 26.

We are seeking “sponsors” for our happy hours and special events.  Each happy hour is attended by anywhere between 30 and 70 of our residents, plus an additional invitation list of other seniors from outside of our community that are considering Copper Springs as their soon-to-be new home.  Some events are attended by the vast majority of our residents and as many as 40 or 50 “visitors”, and other events have in excess of 100 “visitors” attending.

1. A simple one time donation of a gift basket, gift card, or other raffle prize (minimum value $25.00) will get you listed on our “sponsor list” which will be displayed at every happy hour and event, and allow you unfettered access to display your business cards and trifold or literature in our resource center for the remainder of 2019.  You will also be considered a “go to” resource for professional presentations and informational seminars and events.  These raffle prizes are requested prior to March 31, 2019, and we won’t be accepting more than 2-3 from each business type.  Please feel free to provide your business card and company literature with the gift.
2. There is also opportunity to share in our happy hour and/or event celebrations.  For an additional “sponsorship” of $100, you can become an event specific sponsor.  You will be able to present/share a little about your product and/or services in front of the group in attendance, plus spend the next hour visiting with individuals and having an opportunity to build a relationship with those who are either currently in need of your wares or at least will potentially be in need in the not too distant future.  You can sponsor 1 or more, or even set up a monthly sponsorship (for a discounted rate). Also with these sponsorships, you will have “first option” to take part in other major marketing events that we have throughout the year.
