Deloitte, a professional services firm that offers audit, advisory tax and consulting services to over 20 industries, has invested $34 million to set up its new U.S. delivery center for technology solutions in Gilbert, a move that is expected to bring 2,500 jobs to the community.
Deloitte, which will occupy 102,000 square feet of space at Gilbert's Commons at Rivulon development located at Gilbert Road and the Santan Loop 202, will be the town's largest employer, according to town officials.
“With the creation of these high-wage jobs, Deloitte will be one of the largest employers in Gilbert," Gilbert Mayor Jenn Daniels said in a statement. "This will not just benefit those in Gilbert but all of the Phoenix-metro area.”
Gilbert Town Manager Patrick Banger said Deloitte will help build a stronger economy and community.
“Deloitte is an organization that makes an impact that matters, with goals of serving the public interest, and helping lead the way toward a stronger economy and society," Banger said in a statement. “Recently ranked as the best place to live, work and play in Arizona and the most prosperous city in the country, Gilbert’s commitment to our future perfectly aligns with Deloitte’s and we look forward to a long-term meaningful and collaborative relationship."
