Scottsdale-based hospitality management company Square One Concepts has had two employees earn top recognition from the culinary industry.

Founder and CEO Barrett Rinzler and Joshua James Amonson of Square One Concepts’ Bourbon & Bones Chophouse + Bar were honored by the Scottsdale League for the Arts.

Rinzler was named the 2017 Restaurateur of the Year. He was inducted into the Arizona Culinary Hall of Fame ast month in Phoenix. In addition, Amonson was nominated for Best Upcoming Chef.

“We are humbled and honored by the award and delighted for the company, and our hard-working team, to be recognized this year,” Rinzler said in a press release.  “We are growing quickly and feel fortunate to be thriving in our home, Arizona, with an eye on future growth. This comes as a welcome surprise, absolutely. We’re also proud of Chef J., who’s been with Bourbon & Bones since its inception and has been on top of his game for us."

The Scottsdale League for the Arts awards, now in their 26th year, recognizes the best in the culinary business.  The organization’s membership includes representatives from the food and beverage industry, Scottsdale Convention & Visitors Bureau, Phoenix Convention Bureau, and former Arizona Culinary Hall of Fame award winners.
