The Lake Havasu Area Chamber of Commerce recently highlighted its monthly Business Solution luncheons, which take place on the third Tuesday of every month and allow member business representatives to collaborate on tricky business problems they’ve encountered.
The monthly lunches run from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. and take place at a different chamber member’s business, the chamber said in a newsletter posted on its website. Attendance is limited to 20 people, who must reserve their place in advance with the chamber.
The event was created by chamber Marketing Committee Chair Tim Miller, who has previously served as chairman on the chamber’s board of directors. Attendees are able to pitch the business problems they’ve encountered, from insurance costs and employee concerns to sourcing short term capital, and get advice from the fellow local professionals, who through back-and-forth conversations often come up with innovative solutions, the posting said.
“It’s proven to work very well,” Miller said in the post. “Some of the ideas and solutions have been really fantastic, and there have been ingenious ways of doing things. It’s probably been one of the more fun things we’ve been involved with in my time with the chamber.”
