For the fourth year in a row, the Better Business Bureau serving Greater Arizona (BBB) has been named one of the top companies to work for in Arizona.
Presented by azcentral.com, Republic Media, Arizona Commerce Authority and BestCompaniesAZ, the recognition is the result of an assessment by Best Companies Group. The assessment is based on surveys of employees in key areas such as leadership and planning, corporate culture, work environment, pay and benefits and job satisfaction.
“I am so proud of the culture and team we’ve built over the years," BBB President/CEO Matthew Fehling said."The richness in our leadership's diversity and multi-generational workforce are not factors we take for granted nor are they something we’ve worked hard to achieve with specific programming. ... Fortunately this has come naturally and when we hire, we look for individuals with a passion for our brand and the work we do to make a difference in our community.”
Over the last 12 months, BBB has grown from 50 to 77 employees and in February, the Maricopa County team relocated to a three-building campus in Phoenix. Two of the three buildings are dedicated to local businesses and one is for staff.
“The BBB Business and Community Center is available for local businesses to use as a meeting destination. The center features seven meeting and training rooms with seating capacities for up to 75 people. Additionally, the new space allows us to help other BBB offices across the country through shared services,” Fehling said.
