Arizona Public Service (APS) recently announced a new online mapping tool that will help the company and its customers track and monitor power outages.

The mapping program will provide real-time information about outages, including location, impact, and an estimated time for the return of power.

“Nobody wants to be without power — especially during a hot Arizona summer,” APS Director of Distribution Operations and Maintenance Tony Tewelis said. “We want to provide our customers with information when they need it most. The power goes out, and customers start to question whether they need to go to a hotel or worry about the food in their fridge. Our new outage map is a quick, easy way for customers to access information that is important to them. And, of course, while customers are planning their next steps, our committed crews are in the field working safely and efficiently to restore their power.”
