Arizonan entrepreneurs can participate in a free seminar being offered Dec. 2 by Salt River Project on how to expand and diversify connections to global trade.

"Navigating Your Export Success," slated to run from 7:30 to 10:00 a.m. at the Embassy Suites’ Phoenix Ballroom at 4400 S. Rural Road in Tempe, will feature speakers focusing on the significance of exporting to Arizona’s economy and the programs and resources available to help businesses at various government levels.

Panelists will include Arizona Small Business Association President and CEO Rick Murray; Phoenix city Economic Development Executive Officer Hank Marshall; Arizona Commerce Authority Vice President of International Trade Kevin O'Shea; Kristian Richardson, director of U.S. Commercial Service in Arizona, International Trade Administration and U.S. Department of Commerce; Global Chamber Founder and CEO Doug Bruhnke; Maricopa Association of Governments International Economic Development Analyst III Alana Chavez Langdon; and Brett Johnson, a partner at Snell & Wilmer specializing in government regulatory compliance, export and government contracting.

Presentations will provide insights into exporting and information for business owners on establishing connections with Canada, Mexico and other nations. As a bonus, participants will have a chance to win a free business consultation by Hopscratch, a “holistic business infrastructure service in a box” founded by a local activist and startup specialist Jonathan Cottrell.
