Victor Insurance has announced the appointment of Mark Damico as President and Chief Operating Officer of Torrent Technologies, effective July 31, 2025. Mr. Damico will take over from Kevin Tobin, who is retiring after more than 35 years in the industry.

In his new role, Mr. Damico will oversee Torrent's suite of business software platforms and service solutions for insurance providers involved with the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP) and private flood insurance options across the United States. He will also continue as COO, focusing on business operations and product development to drive growth. Based in Brookfield, Wisconsin, he will report to Charles Williamson, CEO of Victor.

Mr. Damico joined Torrent as COO in 2018 following a career as an entrepreneur and previous roles at StoneRiver and Fiserv. Charles Williamson stated: "Mark is an exceptional leader with deep technology and customer experience expertise in the flood insurance sector." He expressed confidence that under Mr. Damico's leadership, Torrent would support carriers and agents towards sustainable solutions.

Mr. Damico remarked: “I’m proud to work with such a talented group of colleagues at Torrent...and look forward to building on our capabilities.”

Victor Insurance operates globally with locations across several countries including the US, Canada, UK, Netherlands, Germany, Italy, and Australia.
