NAIFA President Doug Massey has announced the appointment of Kathleen Bilderback to the NAIFA Board of Trustees. Bilderback, who is a Counsel in the Business Practice Group with Sandberg, Phoenix & von Gontard P.C., brings extensive experience in business and executive benefits planning.

Bilderback is known for her expertise in life insurance-based estate and executive compensation planning. She has served as the national President of the Society of Financial Service Professionals and was a board member of NAIFA-St. Louis. Additionally, she contributed to the NAIFA 2030 Strategic Planning Committee.

“We are excited to welcome Kathleen Bilderback to the NAIFA Board of Trustees,” said Massey. “She brings a wealth of experience and knowledge in the fields of executive benefits, estate planning, and advanced life insurance concepts, as well as a thorough understanding of the insurance and financial services industry."

Bilderback's past roles include providing training for MetLife producers as part of their Advanced Markets Group and serving as an adjunct professor at Washington University’s School of Law. She was also selected as a Registered Player Financial Advisor for the NFL Players Association.

Since joining NAIFA in 1999, Bilderback has been active in national events such as the Performance + Purpose Conference and Advance Practice Impact Week series. Her contributions extend to being on faculty at the FSP Institute and presenting at various industry meetings.

“It is an honor to be selected to serve," Bilderback stated. "I look forward to working with President Massey and all of the Trustees as we continue to build NAIFA’s strength, impact, and awareness." She highlighted recent mergers within NAIFA that enhance its service to financial professionals.
