Apple has announced the schedule for its upcoming Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC), set to take place from June 9 to June 13. The conference will be held online and is free for the global Apple developer community. It aims to provide insights into Apple's latest tools, technologies, and features. Throughout the week, developers can engage with Apple engineers, designers, and evangelists through more than 100 sessions designed to help them explore new enhancements for building apps and games across Apple platforms.
A special event at Apple Park on June 9 will host over 1,000 developers and students in person. The event will begin at 10 a.m. PDT with a Keynote that introduces groundbreaking updates coming to Apple platforms. This Keynote will be streamed on apple.com, the Apple TV app, and the Apple YouTube channel. On-demand playback will be available after the stream concludes.
Following the Keynote at 1 p.m. PDT, the Platforms State of the Union will offer an in-depth look at new tools empowering developers across iOS, iPadOS, macOS, tvOS, visionOS, and watchOS. This session can be streamed via the Apple Developer app, website, and YouTube channel.
The conference includes over 100 technical sessions allowing developers to delve into Apple's latest technologies and frameworks alongside experts. These sessions are accessible through the Apple Developer app, website, and YouTube channel. Additional resources such as guides and documentation will also be available.
Members of both the Apple Developer Program and Enterprise Program can connect directly with Apple experts through online group labs or one-on-one appointments covering topics like design, developer tools, graphics and games, machine learning, Swift programming language among others.
Apple continues its support for emerging talent through initiatives like the Swift Student Challenge which recognizes young entrepreneurs in coding and design fields. Fifty Distinguished Winners have been selected this year for their exceptional submissions; they will participate in a special three-day experience at Apple Park.
