Linda Moore President and CEO at TechNet | Official website
TechNet has submitted a series of policy recommendations to the House Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Energy Working Group. This submission is in response to the group's request for information on how to ensure a stable and sustainable energy future that can support AI innovation.
Linda Moore, President and CEO of TechNet, emphasized the importance of collaboration between the government and private sector. "To win the global AI race, both the government and private sector must work together to advance a national policy agenda that secures American energy dominance and supports the construction of data and power infrastructure at a pace that allows U.S. innovation to move forward unimpeded," she stated. She further noted that "speed and scale are the keys to maintaining America’s technological advantage and positioning the U.S. to outcompete China and other authoritarian regimes in the AI era."
The recommendations cover four primary areas: investing in American energy dominance, incentivizing private-sector investment, modernizing the electrical grid, and outpacing China in technological advancements.
