Tim Cook CEO of Apple | Apple

Apple has announced the expansion of its Apple Intelligence features to a wider audience with the release of iOS 18.4, iPadOS 18.4, and macOS Sequoia 15.4. These updates make the features available in multiple new languages such as French, German, Italian, Portuguese (Brazil), Spanish, Japanese, Korean, and simplified Chinese. Additionally, localized English versions are now accessible for users in Singapore and India.

For the first time, users within the European Union can access Apple Intelligence features on their iPhones and iPads. Furthermore, Apple is introducing these capabilities to a new platform through Apple Vision Pro with an initial set of features available in U.S. English.

Apple Vision Pro users can now utilize Writing Tools for proofreading, rewriting, summarizing text, and composing text from scratch using ChatGPT integration. Other tools include Image Playground for visual expression and Genmoji for creating personalized emojis.

The update also introduces Priority Notifications to help manage time-sensitive communications and allows Mac users to create memory movies by typing descriptions. The Image Playground feature gains an additional Sketch style designed for academic and detailed sketches.

"Apple Intelligence marks an extraordinary step forward for privacy in AI," states Apple regarding its commitment to user privacy through on-device processing and Private Cloud Compute technology.
