NVIDIA and Saudi Arabia have announced a partnership aimed at transforming the Kingdom into a global leader in artificial intelligence (AI), cloud computing, digital twins, and robotics. This collaboration was revealed during a state visit involving U.S. President Donald Trump and Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.

Jensen Huang, NVIDIA's founder and CEO, emphasized the importance of AI as an essential infrastructure for nations. "AI, like electricity and internet, is essential infrastructure for every nation," Huang stated. He added that together with HUMAIN, they are building AI infrastructure to support Saudi Arabia's vision.

Tareq Amin, CEO of HUMAIN, highlighted the significance of this partnership with NVIDIA in advancing Saudi Arabia's ambitions in AI and digital infrastructure. "Together, we are building the capacity, capability and a new globally enabled community to shape a future powered by intelligent technology and empowered people," Amin said.

The collaboration involves several initiatives between NVIDIA and leading Saudi organizations:

- HUMAIN will invest significantly in constructing AI factories within Saudi Arabia with an anticipated capacity of up to 500 megawatts using NVIDIA’s advanced GPUs over five years.

- The first phase includes deploying an 18,000 NVIDIA GB300 Grace Blackwell AI supercomputer.

- The introduction of the country's first NVIDIA Omniverse Cloud aims to simulate physical AI solutions using digital twins.

- Training programs will be established to equip thousands of developers with skills in accelerated computing and AI.

- Collaboration with the Saudi Data & AI Authority (SDAIA) involves deploying up to 5,000 Blackwell GPUs for smart city solutions while training scientists on developing models for physical and agentic AI.

- Aramco Digital plans to develop AI computing infrastructure alongside establishing platforms for enterprise use.

H.E. Dr. Abdullah bin Sharaf Alghamdi from SDAIA remarked on the strategic importance of this partnership: “This partnership with NVIDIA reflects SDAIA’s commitment to harnessing and advancing the potential of data and AI through continuous innovation.” He noted its alignment with Vision 2030 goals focused on economic diversification.

These efforts aim to enhance industries such as energy, manufacturing, and logistics by leveraging AI technologies to drive growth across the region while promoting efficiency and sustainability.
