PepsiCo has announced a strategic agreement with Amazon Web Services (AWS) aimed at accelerating its digital transformation efforts. This collaboration is part of PepsiCo's strategy to enhance its enterprise-wide digital capabilities using AWS's infrastructure and services.
Athina Kanioura, Executive Vice President and Chief Strategy and Transformation Officer at PepsiCo, stated, "A cloud-first approach has been essential to PepsiCo's ongoing digital transformation. This strategic collaboration will strengthen our mature cloud strategy and unlock new levels of agility, intelligence, and scalability across the company."
The partnership encompasses various initiatives within PepsiCo's global operations. These include migrating applications and workloads to AWS as part of their IT modernization efforts. The integration of AWS with PepsiCo's internal generative AI platform, PepGenX, aims to enhance flexibility through Amazon Bedrock.
PepsiCo is also leveraging AWS for real-time insights into advertising performance and targeted marketing. In addition, the collaboration focuses on transforming global operations by exploring end-to-end digital supply chain capabilities.

PepsiCo products are consumed over one billion times daily in more than 200 countries. The company's revenue in 2024 reached nearly $92 billion.
