Kenton County Parks & Recreation is set to bring back its summer program, Wild Wednesdays, promising an engaging experience for nature enthusiasts. The program will be held weekly at Middleton-Mills Park's shelter house 2 in Covington throughout the summer months.
Wild Wednesdays offer participants the opportunity to closely explore the natural environment. The event begins with a pre-program session at 9:30 AM, followed by the main program at 10:00 AM. A post-program session is scheduled for 11:00 AM, culminating in lunch at 11:30 AM. Additionally, attendees can participate in free raffles with prizes.
The summer food service program for children, in collaboration with Kenton County Schools, will provide lunches, while adults can purchase them for $5.00. A nondiscrimination statement issued reads: "This institution is an equal opportunity employer."
