NVIDIA has introduced its latest GeForce RTX 5060 family of GPUs, offering advanced technologies at a starting price of $299. The series includes the RTX 5060 Ti and RTX 5060, which come equipped with the NVIDIA Blackwell architecture, DLSS 4, ray tracing, and NVIDIA Reflex technologies to enhance gaming performance and image quality.
According to Matt Wuebbling, NVIDIA’s vice president of GeForce marketing, "The RTX 5060 family offers gamers next-generation performance and AI-enhanced visuals starting at $299." He added that these GPUs elevate gaming experiences with "stunning visuals, high frame rates and quick responsiveness."
The new DLSS 4 technology is now integrated into over 100 games, featuring capabilities like Multi Frame Generation and Super Resolution. Notable games such as "Alan Wake 2," "Black Myth: Wukong," "Cyberpunk 2077," and "Hogwarts Legacy" will benefit from these enhancements, providing over 100 fps with maximum ray-traced settings.
The RTX 5060 GPUs also support creative professionals, with features like Blackwell FP4 Tensor Cores and ninth-generation NVIDIA NVENC encoders. These features are beneficial for livestreaming, video editing, and 3D artistry.
In addition to desktop GPUs, NVIDIA has launched the GeForce RTX 5060 Laptop GPU, promoting enhanced gaming and creative functionalities in portable formats. It is designed for 144 fps gaming and supports 8K video editing. These laptops are expected to deliver double the frame rates and reduced latency compared to previous models, with designs as thin as 14.9 millimeters.
The GeForce RTX 5060 Ti will be available from April 16 at prices of $429 for the 16GB variant and $379 for the 8GB variant. The RTX 5060 will be launched in May for $299. These models will be available from leading add-in card manufacturers like ASUS, MSI, and ZOTAC, and through system builders such as Falcon Northwest and MAINGEAR. GeForce RTX 5060 laptops will be available starting in May with a starting price of $1,099.
