The new Korean romantic comedy, "The Divorce Insurance," featuring both humor and heartfelt moments, is now available for streaming on Prime Video. The show introduces a novel perspective on themes such as love, marriage, and workplace relationships.

Lee Dong-wook plays No Ki-jun, an actuary and product developer behind a new type of insurance tailored for marriages at high risk of divorce. Having experienced three divorces himself, Ki-jun's personal life becomes intertwined with professional pursuits when he develops feelings for Kang Han-deul, a coworker portrayed by Lee Joo-bin, who is navigating her own recent divorce.

Actor Lee Dong-wook commented on the show's innovative premise: "I thought that the show really brought something new to the table... It’s a story of making the best of life after divorce, not about seeing it as a failure or something that ends one’s life."

Lee Joo-bin shared her interest in the script, explaining, "But there were so many different cases of divorce that I saw in the script that I could really relate to... so I was really drawn to that and was curious to see how that would be brought to life on screen."

The plot thickens with the addition of Jeon Na-rae, an ex-wife of Ki-jun's, played by Lee Da-hee, who collaborates on Ki-jun’s divorce insurance project. Lee Da-hee hopes the series prompts viewers to reconsider divorce: “I hope The Divorce Insurance encourages viewers to reflect on what it means to live true to themselves, rather than seeing divorce in a negative light.”

The cast also includes Lee Kwang-soo as An Jeon-man, Ki-jun’s childhood friend and a risk surveyor who collaborates with Na-rae. Their professional partnership unveils unexpected chemistry, adding another layer to the narrative.
