In 2022, the Economic Development Administration (EDA) issued 10 grants totaling $40,990,648 to fund economic development projects in Hawaii.

This represents a 296.9% increase over 2021, when the state received $10,326,608 in funding.

Hawaii ranked 29th across the U.S. in total EDA grant funding for 2022. California topped the list with $238,656,132 in funding across 57 grants.
